Have a beautiful idea? Help submit a special program grant!!
School beautification is one of the many things that the PTO special program grant could be used for. If you have interest in or an idea for how to make the school site more beautiful, this may be your chance!! Want to plant a tree? Help build a beautiful tile wall? Get some more benches on campus? All of these things could be funded through PTO!!! This year, PTO has added $10,000 in funding for a “Special Programs Grant” that can be applied for by the parent and staff community. This new grant program is intended to fund purchases that improve PTO or Stevens Creek Elementary infrastructure, improve the school campus, enrich the curriculum, or support the PTO mission. If you have an idea for a one-time purchase or project, consider submitting a proposal. For more information and detailed grant guidelines, visit the PTO web-site (http://www.stevenscreekpto.org) or contact the VP of Grants (Luanne Schirrmeister, lschirrm@gmail.com). If you have an idea, but need help, please contact us!
Career Day Volunteer Needed!
PTO is looking for someone to spearhead a new project this year. Stevens Creek will be holding its first Career Day this year, but it cannot happen without your help!! We are looking for an individual or small group to coordinate and organize this brand new program!! Please contact Stephanie Fulmer-Smentek (sfulsmen@comcast.net) or Cris Vaughan (cavaughan28@gmail.com) if you are interested or would like more information.
