First PTO Meeting:
Please join us at the first PTO meeting of the year.  It will be held on Thurs. 9/9 at 7pm in the Staff Lounge.  Please see the preliminary agenda below (it will also be posted on the website). More details

Volunteer Positions:
At this point, we appear to have a full Pumpkin Panic committee, but no Chair(s).  There are also room parents for about 1/3 of the classes.  Please sign up with your teachers at back to school night for room parent, if the class does not already have a room parent.  More details

Direct Donation Drive

When you donate during the Direct Donation drive at school you become a member of the PTO and get a free copy of the school directory. We are targeting to raise $90,000 for the Direct Donation. We, the PTO, make it possible to have:

Red bullet A daily librarian
Red bullet Lower grade PE teachers and playground equipment
Red bullet Music teachers
Red bullet Technology Lab aide
Red bullet Instructional aides in the classrooms
Red bullet Teacher grants for classroom curriculum and supplies
Red bullet Art teachers
Red bullet Many other activities
We also organize fun events like Pumpkin Panic, school potluck, ice cream social and show off school spirit with our Walkathon.

Volunteers needed

We are in desperate need of noon yard duty supervisors. We do not have adequate supervision for 680 students. This is a volunteer or paid (8.15/hr) position and is critical to the safety of your children.
We are also seeking room parents for all your children's classes.
Please contact the school office.



The Stevens Creek Parent Teacher organization is a non-profit, tax-exempt parent volunteer organization whose purpose is to:

  • promote the welfare of the children of Stevens Creek School;
  • enrich the educational opportunities for our children with funds, materials, services, activities, or equipment not provided by school district funds;
  • provide opportunities for teachers, parents and their children to get to know one another better in a friendly, informal atmosphere;
  • encourage voluntarism on the part of parents.
