Come spring and Stevens Creek Elementary goes into Walkathon fever. It will be held on Friday, April 27th. 2012. All the students walk the perimeter of the school grounds and bring in sponsorships per round or a lump sum pledge. The students all get a Walkathon t-shirt. Parents get to come out and see their kids walk and help with all the walkathon tasks.

Our school walkathon has successfully raised over a third of the PTO budget for several years. By combining business and family sponsors with pledge collections, this fundraiser gives the families a chance to obtain financial support from the community. While families can choose to donate themselves, they are encouraged to obtain donations from other sources, including family members, friends, local businesses, and employers. Assuring funds are collected in the Spring allows the Principal and Staff to plan for the coming school year.

We are still looking for volunteers to help out our prestigious Walkathon event for this year.
